Yes. The DMV requires that signatures on title documents be acknowledged.

3. How do I know if I need a document notarized?

There's a special section of the document where a notary signature, commission expiration date, and notary seal should be placed.

4. I am moving to another state or selling my car in a different state, do I need my car title notarized?

That depends. If you are in a state that requires a notary, then the answer is yes. The following states in the US require a notary. North Carolina, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

5. What types of identification can you use when you need a document notarized?

You can use a Driver's License, a government-issued ID such as a Social Security card or a Passport. If it's a motor-vehicle title, then you definitely need a Drivers License.
