For more than eight years, Aldora Hunter dedicated herself to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was the person patients were glad to see walk through the door — attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in the people in her care. She loved the work, she loved the connection, and she loved knowing that her presence made a difficult day a little more bearable.
In 2009, a work-related injury brought that chapter to an unexpected close. What followed was months of reflection, research, and a quiet determination to find a new path — one that would let her stay in service to others, stay in the public eye, and continue doing what she loved: helping people navigate something they couldn't always do alone.
The answer was notary work. And it turned out to be a perfect fit.
She founded Aldora's Notary & Apostille Service in 2009, starting with the documents people most often struggle to find help with — Powers of Attorney, I-9 employment verifications, affidavits, and general notarizations. Word spread quickly. Requests grew. And before long, the phone was ringing with something bigger: mortgage and real estate loan signings.
Seventeen years later, Aldora is one of Central North Carolina's most sought-after notary signing agents — with hundreds of documented loan signings, an active presence on every major signing platform, and a reputation for accuracy, professionalism, and care that lenders and title companies rely on.

Aldora spent over eight years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for patients and building the skills that would define her approach to every professional relationship: patience, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to the people she served.
A Work-Related Injury Changes Everything
A work-related injury ended Aldora's nursing career — but not her drive to help people. After months of careful research and reflection, she made a decision: she would become a Notary Public. It was a new field, but the foundation was the same — showing up for people when they need someone they can trust.

Aldora earned her commission, completed her certifications, and launched Aldora's Apostille & Notary Service. Early work included Powers of Attorney, I-9s, and general document notarizations — the everyday needs that people often don't know where to turn for.

As the business grew, loan and mortgage signing became the core of Aldora's work. Purchase closings, refinances, reverse mortgages, HELOCs — she built deep expertise across every major loan type, earning a reputation for accuracy and professionalism that title companies and lenders now depend on across six NC counties.
